Letting as much natural light as possible in a room is beneficial in many ways. As natural light is free it makes sense to use it as often as you can rather than wasting electricity and therefore money using artificial light. Natural light is good for your health, it lifts your mood and the ambience in the room making it feel more open, light and spacious. Most rooms have a window of some sort, whether it's a large picture window, or a small skylight style, you should invest the time to make it a design priority in your home. Vertical Blinds
Ideal for patio doors and walls of glass, vertical blinds give you the same light control as Venetian blinds, but rather than working horizontally the slats operate vertically. You can chose whether to stack them back to the right or left, and if you have them larger than the window or doors the whole glass will be exposed when they are opened, stacked back. Privacy can also be maintained by altering the angle of the vertical louvres.
